NEW SEG3D VERSION 1.11

Dear Seg3D users,

We are happy to announce the release of Seg3D 1.11. This new release can be downloaded from the SCI software portal (software.sci.utah.edu). This new release encompasses several new features and many bug fixes.

New features include:

1) New Window/Level Tool for specifically setting the gray scale range for images.
2) New Arithmetic Tool for doing arithmetic operations between two images.
3) New Invert Tool for inverting the image values (can help when segmenting data)
4) Addition of a historgram to aid in selecting the threshold within the Threshold Tool
5) New Canny Edge Detection Filter
6) Ability to flip the image view direction (left-right or up-down) within the slices views
7) Ability to adjust the opacity of the label layers and images within the slice views.

Major bug fixes:

1) Session saving has been fixed.
2) The paint brush now functions after loading a session.
3) The handling of nrrd output files has been improved.
4) The boolean operators have been rewritten.
5) Slice browsing does not skip slices anymore.
