Hi Jeroen,

So I guess the real problem is that the data doesn't show up in the volume viewer. We can see it in the slice views, but not the volume. I assumed this problem was related to the opengl error we saw reported. Or are you saying that you have a build that fixes this problem which is related to the opengl error?

Hi Liz,

I am working on a solution for this problem. The issue is that Seg3D reports
every OpenGL error it encounters even if we have already code in place that
works around the known problems in certain OpenGL drivers. I am currently in
the process of building a new version, where error reporting is switched off,
for the cases where there is a work around in place. This should fix the
problem. My goal is to have an updated installer probably by the end of
today, which also addresses the instabilities encountered in the Matlab
readers and which adds a Matlab exporter, as I received several requests for
that functionality to be added to the system. A new version is already
available through svn at https://gforge.sci.utah.edu/svn/seg3d2/branches/2.1 ;
with most of these issue fixed.

cheers,

Jeroen

I have a collaborator who is getting the following error when we start 3d and
go to view a volume:

"opengl error 1282: invalid operation"

I checked that the nvidia drivers were updated, is there some other software
we need to install on the machine?
