Hello Ayla,
Log files found thanks to a Alan Morris hint.
I enclose the set of all log files I found in the folder (some probably
due also to the uninstall-install procedure I tried).

As a test, I installed Seg3D previous ver 1.13 too and it starts
regularly. However I had no time to go over, and so don't know if there is
some further drawback running this version.
