Hi Paul,

It's possible to override the pre-set mask colors in Python (for example, use set(stateid='preferences::color_0', value=[0,0,212]) to change the first color in the palette) or change it in Preferences, but the current release is restricted to a 12 color palette. I've got a partial solution implemented, but it needs more fleshing out and testing. I hope to have it in the next release.

Dear Seg3D team,

I'm working with a neuron project that has 20+ masks, and I need to have unique color identifiers for each one.  Is it possible to assign specific colors to a layer using the python console instead of the GUI color palette?

Thanks,

Paul Holcomb
