[Seg3D] label count vs label volume

I'm a new user of Seg3D, who is using the program to visualize labels of different brain structures.

I have a beginner's question about the values listed in the Volume Information box: what is the difference between the "label count" and "label volume"? The "label count" and "label volume" values are different for the labels I'm looking at, but I assumed that "label volume" and "label count" should be equal, if the size of the voxels throughout the image remains constant.

I appreciate your help!
