Hi Mikayle,

The neighborhood connected filter only works on Data layers (grayscale data).  It will try to segment it based on the seeds that you set.  If you wan the connected region of a segmentations, use the connected component filter.

cheers,
Jess

Hello!

I am interested in using the Seg3D tool but am having trouble with the Neighborhood Connected filter currently. Though I have a layer selected (confirmed by the "Active Layer" text in the bottom righthand corner) it does not allow me to set my seed points. I click the "Use active layer" button but it says Select a data layer to activate this filter. When I uncheck this, there is not a target layer available to me in the drop down box and therefore the Select a data layer to active this filter remains. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

Thanks!
Mikayle
