Hi,

Is there a chance you could point me to one or two of your volumes?

Thanks,
Alan

Hello,

I am trying to utilize ShapeWorks to initiate and optimize correspondence on a vertebral surface. I am using the ShapeWorksGroom to preprocess binary volumetric images by applying:
antialias: 2000 iterations
blur: 4.0

and then calculating distance transform through fast marching.

I have tried to increase the number of iterations (upto 1000) and number of points while running ShapeWorksRun without much difference. Here is the best result I have so far of the vertebra particle-based surface construction, with default parameters:Inline image 1

Following is the surface representation I need to achieve:

I would really appreciate any suggestions or guidance in stabilizing the correspondence initialization to achieve a proper surface-initiated list of particles.

Thanks and regards,

Rabia
