Hi Patricia, The surface reconstruction algorithm is not ideal and with certain parameters causes these artifacts. There is code that hasn't been integrated yet (and when I do not know) that has a more stable reconstruction scheme. For now, try avoiding high standard deviations and steps in the analysis options.
