Hi Harsha,

I have been working on the femur use case and it is actually not part of the master build currently. I am finishing testing it to make sure it is working properly and I expect to merge it within the next few days.
I apologize for the misunderstanding. I can either let you know when it is ready or you could build from the "FemurUseCase" branch which has all of the added functionality necessary for starting from .vtk in the Python scripts.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,
Jadie

Hi Harsha,

Use case datasets are not maintained within the GitHub repo. We now have a data portal instead. Please check out the below slides 20-23 from the below link for the steps to get a use case dataset.

Hi Shireen,

Is the femur example included with the new release? I only have access to the ellipsoid example inside the 'Examples\Python' folder.

Kind regards,

Harsha

Hi Harsha,

Yes … Please check out the femurs example. It demonstrate the grooming steps required for converting surface meshes to binary segmentations.

Hi Shireen,

Thank you for your reply. The Python ellipsoid example works beautifully with the sample data. My data set is currently in '.vtk' format - Is there a way to convert them to '.nrrd' before running the python scripts?

Thanks again,

Harsha

Hi Harsha,

The shell scripts will be deprecated very soon and as of now, they might not be compatible any more with the latest release. I would try out the python scripts in Examples/Python. You could start with the ellipsoid example and adapt it to your dataset.

thanks and best regards
Shireen
