Dear All,

Hope you and your families are safe and healthy …

We would like to cordially invite you to our remote ShapeWorks monthly users get-together on Thursday, April 30th at 11 am (see below for more info). Please feel free to forward this invitation to whomever you think is interested in shape modeling.

ShapeWorks have been working on adding new features to the ShapeWorks suite. Thanks ShapeWorkers! And we will use this meeting to introduce/showcase some of these features as a prelude to a major software release in May.

Here is the agenda for this month meeting — please bring your shape modeling story (use case) to the table to discuss how to customize ShapeWorks for your own use case:

- Deep learning approach for estimating statistical shape models directly from images and hence bypassing segmentation and preprocessing steps.
- Upgraded, flexible ShapeWorks project file that can easily handle multiple modeling scenarios
- Optimizing shape models directly on surface meshes to minimize memory footprint
- ShapeWorks Python APIs
- Users Stories & Open Discussion
When: Thursdays every four weeks starting August 15th (there has been one week shift due to new year) from 11am to 1pm MDT.

Where: Zoom
