Tom,

Oh that's too bad, that was the whole purpose of me playing with imagevis3d...
I would like them to be arbitrary: load anything you want for axis 1 and anything else for axis 2. I have a multivariate dataset and it makes a lot of sense to do it this way. Also, it would be even better if we could have consequent applications of the transfer function. For example, apply opacity based on one transfer function, then in the next one only the opacity of already visible points is altered. Of course, it would also be extremely handy to be able to colormap the dataset by value first and then use the transfer functions for transparency one...

Is there anything out there that can do this?

One more question, please: is it possible to load arbitrary volumes
into the 2D transfer function space? (As opposed to having the

Unfortunately, no, not at this time. What settings/variables are you
interested in displaying on those axes, though?
