Hi,

The matlabinterface will do that for you. Use MatlabInterface::DataIO::MatlabMatricesReader to make a 3D matrix into a LatVolField, Or use MatlabInterface::DataIO::MatlabNrrdsReader to make it into a 3D nrrd object which can be converted as well to any other object. Just make sure you have the latest version, I think part of the converter did not work properly under version 1.23. Save the matrix as a file and you can directly read it this way in SCIRun
