Hi all,

I have created a segmentation in Seg3D v1.12.0 (with my patch for the Spline Tool), saved it to .mat, and opened it in Seg3D2. The application crashes with a segfault.

If I save a volume instead of a segmentation to .mat and try to open in Seg3D2, the segfault produces some output

<ERROR>

From the export menu, it seems that currently, Seg3D2 can only export to NRRD, so maybe it cannot even read .mat files in the first place? Is this functionality going to be added at some point?

I have then saved a volume in Seg3D in .nrrd format, and opened it with Seg3D2. I get the following error:

<ERROR>
ERROR: Could not read file '/home/ramc/elham/image-processing/ko-118-01-11-stack-seg-clean-smooth-lab.nrrd'.

Could not open file: /home/ramc/elham/image-processing/ko-118-01-11-stack-seg-clean-smooth-lab.nrrd : [nrrd] nrrdLoad: trouble reading "/home/ramc/elham/image-processing/ko-118-01-11-stack-seg-clean-smooth-lab.nrrd"

[nrrd] _nrrdReadNrrdParse_spacings: trouble
[nrrd] _nrrdFieldCheck_spacings: axis 0 spacing (0) invalid
</ERROR>

Could this be because the resolution in my images is ~.5e-6, and Seg3D doesn't have enough precision when saving the data to a file?

I have been able to save a segmentation mask to .mha in Seg3D and open it with Seg3D2 without crashing.

Best regards,

Ramon.
