Hello Ayla, Dan ;),

I was nicely surprised to find this in the weekend:

I recall some discussion on plans to move to Qt! I also wrote once
here that I would love to contribute towards getting rid of TCL/TK
:))))

My questions:
1) How can I keep in touch when discussing this SCIRun5 release?
2) Can I follow privetly with some of the community to bring me up to speed?

So far I've tried building on win8+VS12Update4 and Linux.
I failed on both:
Windows: std::tuple not supported by Visual Studio!
Linux: I select building without Python support yet:
/home/ppetrov/scirun5/src/Externals/boost/boost/python/detail/wrap_python.hpp:50:23:
fatal error: pyconfig.h: No such file or directory

Since you move to Qt/C++11 why not VTK6 too? Rendering was buggy to
say the least for SCIRun4 and really surprised to start with why
double the effort but simply not use VTK it is inhouse lib for you
guys too :)

I have plenty of questions like these ....
