Hi Alya,

As far as I know, MetaImage/MetaIO is ITK's own format, so exporting will be easy (Seg3D2 actually can read the format already) ;)

I have attached a tiny test volume in Seg3D .mat format, and the same in MetaImage .mha format. This volume is a cropping of a microscopy image I'm working with, with small voxel size, and 1 order of magnitude better resolution in XY than in Z.
