Hi there

it is becoming really frustratingly to work with these softwares. I tried different versions of Seg3D and none of them worked at all.
I even tried Bioimage, it says that it supports DICOM files but it can not upload my data stack of Dicom files. every time it generates errors like "ERROR: (ImportNrrdFromDicom::join_nrrds) Join Error: [nrrd] nrrdJoin: trouble allocating permutation nrrd"
and the "execute" button does not become available either.

what should I do ?

cheers. Ehsan

Ehsan,

I experienced a similar problem to the one you are having, which was also a
dual Pentium processor machine. Try disabling one of the processors in the
bios and see if that helps. If so could you email me back as it might be a
bug in the threading and I can flag this up as a possible bug in the windows
version of Seg3D. I am currently building a more current version of Seg3D
for windows, if this works I'll send you the executable file.

Hi there

It runs and it drop down menus are working when I hover my mouse over them but the links on those menus are "inactive" and nothing seems to work.

I have a PC (windows XP) with 2GB Ram Dual Pentium 3.2 GHz and lots of other stuff.

what seems to be the problem ?

Cheers. Ehsan

What is your PCs hardware configuration?

Hi there

I tried 3D slicer but it's not that powerful, I have had lots of trouble uploading my images(tiff format)and constructing a mesh. on the other I couldn't install SEG3D on my system. I download the windows SEG3D zip file and unzip it and run it (every thing is OK till this point) but then it starts to blink and it freezes after that, can anybody help me ?

Cheers. Ehsan

Hello,
You can likely do this in seg 3D (From SCI), as well as 3D Slicer from
the
SPL.  We utilize both to do our research...
You make the models and then save them as NRRD files which are easily
imported to SCIRun as needed...

Hi people

thanks a million to Darby, my Scirun is working fine now, so here is my
basic question. is there any part in the Scirun that I could import a
dataset of images (tiff,bmp,...) from a CT machine and generate a 3D
model
?
cheers. Ehsan
