The Polyline tool already does this as it is used for making and editing
closed loops. I'm not sure what the Matlab code would be for?
This is superb, because it will allow us to move and adjust seed points.
However, we also need to be able to click the seed points in any order,
and still get the same loop. This is what I was referring to with the
Matlab prototype. It's done and it works, so I have to write the same
functionality in C++ in the new Spline Tool ;)
Let me comment on this a bit further. 8-)
I think you mean that now the user can right-click on the polyline, and
a new seed point is added, that can be moved around within the same slice.
The problem is that we don't have the annulus in one plane, so finding
the contour, right-clicking on it, and then dragging the new seed point
across planes would be too cumbersome. (Also, we are going to have a
spline).
So I'd like to add the new seed point just by clicking anywhere on the
image, and let the program figure out where it belongs.
Cheers,
R.
